Juan Sánchez Ruiz Pacheco, dueño de recua, vecino de Guatemala, manifestó dirigirse hacia la Nueva Veracruz y llevar en servicio de su recua a cuatro indios nombrados Domingo, Diego, Juan Hernández y Jusepe [José]. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad; también se le informó de la ordenanza que prohíbe a los carreteros, arrieros y chirrioneros bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz.
