Gregorio de la Serna, dueño de recua, vecino de la ciudad de los Ángeles, manifestó llevar su recua hacia la Nueva Veracruz y en ella lleva a ocho indios nombrados: Gaspar, Juan Nicaragua, Bernabé, Nicolás, Pedro, Lázaro, otro Pedro y Miguel. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad; también se le informó de la ordenanza que prohíbe a los carreteros, arrieros y chirrioneros bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz, a partir del 1 de junio hasta 5 de octubre de cada año, so pena de 200 pesos.
