Pedro Martín de Beas, dueño de recua, vecino de la ciudad de los Ángeles, dijo que se dirige hacia la ciudad de la Nueva Veracruz, lleva en su recua cuatro indios nombrados Juan Raymundo, Pedro Martín, Francisco y Andrés. Asimismo, el corregidor le notificó de la ordenanza que prohíbe bajar con indios a la Nueva Veracruz a partir del 1 de junio de cada año hasta el otro día después de San Francisco so pena de 200 pesos; también se le informó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento y no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad.
