El Capitán Juan de la Lastra Madrazo, Alcalde Mayor y Capitán a Guerra de este pueblo y su partido, Juez de Caminos, Registros y otras comisiones, dijo por cuanto esta jurisdicción está muy distante y en ella suelen suceder casos y cosas a las no puede asistir personalmente, por lo que es necesario haya un lugarteniente, razón por la que nombra a don Juan de Nates y San Román, vecino de este pueblo y Alguacil Mayor del Tribunal de la Santa Inquisición, como Teniente General de este pueblo y su jurisdicción para que lo ejerza en todos los casos y cosas concernientes a dicho oficio.
