Melchor de Vera, mayordomo de los carros del Regidor Juan García del Castillo, vecino de la ciudad de los Ángeles, que bajan a la Nueva Veracruz, manifestó llevar los indios siguientes: Diego, de Jaltepeque y Francisca, su mujer; Pedro y Clara, su mujer; Pedro y Petrona, su mujer; Francisco de Origuen e Inés, su mujer; Juan Diego, soltero; Sebastián, soltero; Domingo, Capitán, y María, su mujer; Simón de [roto] y Juana, su mujer; Juan grande y Francisca, su mujer; Pedro, de Campeche y Ana, su mujer; Miguel y María, su mujer; Pascual y María, su mujer; Diego, muchacho; asimismo el Corregidor le notificó que a los indios debe dársele buen tratamiento, no servirse de ellos contra su voluntad.
