Don José Ceballos y Burgos vecino de esta provincia de Jalapa, declaró por cuanto el ingenio y haciendas de ganado mayor que quedaron por fin y muerte del Regidor Luis Pacho Mejía, se remataron en el Capitán Antonio Hernández de Mancilla, vecino de la ciudad de México, y Gerónima de Espinosa Bonifaz, madre del susodicho, con calidad de afianzar en el principal y corridos del censo impuesto en las citadas haciendas a favor de los herederos de fulano de Victoria, y para que la condición se cumpla, dio su poder cumplido a Don Antonio Hernández de Mancilla y a Doña Gerónima de Espinosa, para que lo puedan obligar como su fiador hasta en la cantidad de 3 000 pesos de oro común.
