Don Pedro José del Valle, residente en esta Villa, otorga poder general a favor de don Manuel de Cano y Valle, vecino y del comercio de la Capital de México, para que a nombre de él, demande, perciba y cobre judicial o extrajudicialmente de cualquier persona y de quien más haya lugar, las cantidades de dinero que se le estén debiendo a la fecha y debiesen en adelante. Y para que lo defienda en todos sus pleitos, causas y negocios civiles o criminales, eclesiásticos o seculares; y si por lo antes mencionado se requiriese contienda de juicio, lo siga, por lo que se le da éste con libre y general administración y con facultad de sustituirlo.
