Don Luis García Teruel, hacendado en este cantón, otorga poder a especial a don Antonio López, vecino de la ciudad de Puebla, para que en su nombre solicite de cualesquier fondos piadosos, arcas de conventos, capellanías, cofres o personas particulares, los capitales que necesite al rédito de un 5 por ciento anual por el tiempo que pacte, imponiéndolos sobre las fincas rusticas que posee, ubicadas en el distrito de este cantón, nombradas Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, alias Lucas Martín, y sus anexas, y la otra el Castillo, colindante con aquella, hipotecándolas especialmente.
