José Espinosa de los Monteros, vecino y labrador de la provincia de Tlaxcala, como principal obligado, y el Bachiller Lorenzo Matamoros, presbítero, vecino de dicha provincia, como su fiador, se obligaron a pagar a la Masa General de la ciudad de Los Ángeles, 331 pesos y 5 tomines de oro común, por otros tantos que montaron las semillas y ganados de la hacienda del principal nombrada Nuestra Señora del Carmén, del diezmo del año pasado de 1680, que el otorgante compró al Lic. Juan González de Castro, presbítero, colector de diezmos, para fin del mes de agosto del año venidero de 1682.
