El Capitán Juan de Malpica, dueño de recua, vecino de la jurisdicción de Jalapa, dijo que en el tiempo en que concertó matrimonio con Micaela, hija legítima del Capitán Antonio de Campo y de doña Petronila de Rosas y Velasco, se le mandaron en dote 4 859 pesos de plata, y por haber tenido efecto el matrimonio hacen entrega de su dote, entre los que se encuentra bienes inmuebles como: cama, colchones, ropa de cama, alhajas, ropa, y 4 000 pesos de a 8 reales de plata en doblones de a 16 y de a 8, entre otros bienes.
