Fray Antonio de Anaya, Prior del Hospital de Nuestra Señora de Belén de Perote, dio en arrendamiento a Isidro y a Pedro Ortiz de Zárate, vecinos de Perote, una caballería de tierra laboría que nombran El Rancho del Hospital; la cual linda por el oriente con tierras del Capitán Don Antonio Beltrán; y por el poniente, con tierras del Alguacil Mayor Don Juan de Olivares; al norte, con el llano y camino que va para Jalacingo; y al sur, con el cofre de Perote; por el tiempo de cuatro años, a partir del 16 de octubre del presente año, al precio de 45 pesos de oro común anuales.
