Juan de Guzmán y Basilio de Alarcón, por sí y en nombre de Sebastián de Alarcón, su padre y demás interesados en la Venta de la Joya, ambos vecinos de ella, dijeron que dicha Venta está en litis, y Juan Bazán, vecino de esta jurisdicción, solicitado por los interesados, tomó a su cargo la defensa, quien dijo ha gastado 225 pesos en ello, pero éstos no tienen dinero para pagarle los gastos, por tanto han acordado dar en arrendamiento la mencionada Venta a Matías de Alarcón y a su mujer Ana de Capetillo, por 5 años, con obligación de pagar dicha cantidad en ese tiempo, y para asegurar el arrendamiento, lo reducen a escritura.
