Don Juan Velázquez de la Cadena, dueño de este ingenio, dio su poder cumplido a su hermano el Secretario Don Pedro Velázquez de la Cadena, vecino de la ciudad de México, Escribano de Cámara y de la Gobernación de Nueva España, para que en su nombre le busque de cualesquier personas, a daño, barata o préstamo, hasta la cantidad de 2000 pesos de oro común, y le obligue a la paga. Dichos pesos habrán de ser para el avío de este ingenio que administra con poder de su suegro, el Capitán Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando.
