El Señor Coronel don Ramón Cortina, vecino de San Luis Potosí y residente en ésta, otorga da y confiere poder general a su hermana a doña Mateana Cortina, mayor de treinta años y vecina del mismo San Luis Potosí, para que en su representación dirija y gobierne sus bienes, establecimientos y negociaciones campales o urbanas, por sí o por personas particulares que elija conservando y removiendo a los actuales administradores, exigiéndoles fianzas o admitiéndolos sin ellas, según le pareciere. Así como, para que nombre abogados, agentes, procuradores que soliciten y defiendan los pleitos que tuvieren pendientes o en adelante se le ofrecieren.
