Don Matías Ochoa de Amézaga, del Comercio de España y residente de este pueblo de Jalapa, mostró escritura de riesgo hecha en Cádiz el 30 de enero de 1770, por la que consta haberse obligado el ilustrísimo señor don Fray José Vicente Díaz Bravo del Consejo de Su Majestad y Obispo de la Villa de Durango en este reino, a pagar a dicho Matías como primer consignatario la cantidad de 35, 175 pesos 4 y cuartillo reales que le suplió a riesgo de mar don Francisco Rodríguez de Morzo; y por que dicho don Matías no puede pasar en persona a recibir dicha cantidad, otorga su poder a don Antonio Basoco vecino de la Ciudad de México para que en su representación, cobre dicha cantidad y cancele la escritura.
