Juan Lozano Verástigui, vecino de la provincia de Tepeaca, como principal obligado, y Diego de la Carrera, como su fiador, se obligaron a pagar a la Masa General de la ciudad de Puebla de los Ángeles, 90 pesos y tomín y medio de oro común, por otros tantos que valieron y montaron las semillas y ganados del diezmo del año pasado de 1680, de la Hacienda de María Barrientos nombrada San Nicolás, y que dicho principal compró al Lic. José de Siles, presbítero, colector de diezmos, para fines del mes de diciembre del presente año.
