Don Fernando Álvarez, natural de la Villa de Cambados Arzobispado de Galicia en los Reinos de Castilla y vecino del pueblo de Xicochimalco de esta jurisdicción de Jalapa, hijo de don Jerónimo Álvarez y doña Leonor de Matos, difuntos, otorga poder para testar a su esposa doña Ángela Cortés de Soria y a su suegro don Joaquín Cortés de Soria, vecino de la jurisdicción de Tlaxcala, así como nombramiento de albaceas. Declara que fue casado primeramente con doña Josefa Manuela Morales, en segundas nupcias con doña Bárbara Rita Rendón, con quien tuvo un hijo llamado don Fernando Álvarez; y en terceras nupcias con la referida doña Ángela. Nombra como heredero universal a dicho su hijo.
