Domingo de Ocariz, dijo que por cuanto en su poder han entrado cantidad de pesos de oro, para que los distribuyese y gastase en la obra del nuevo camino, que al presente se hace desde la ciudad de México al puerto de San Juan de Ulúa, y que debido a ocupaciones que tiene, no puede asistir a dar cuenta de lo que ha entrado y gastado en dicha obra, por lo que otorga poder a Cristóbal de Cubillas, a Andrés de Laredo y a Juan de Basave, para que den cuenta a la persona que su señoría mande.\n
